I’m excited to announce I am currently working on Disney’s Aladdin as an animator! (I’m also still working at Naughty Dog)

Of course, that’s about all I can say about the project and keep my job. I was asked by ILM to join the project for a short term, which just reiterates my points in the blog post “Get Hired and Stay Hired.”

This is the third time ILM has hired me and I hope to also create a course in the future not just about breaking into the animation industry, but also in my humble opinion what I see are ways to succeed once you are in the industry.

This course would cover soft skills like how to receive notes and just work well with others on a production. I don’t claim to have all the answers but I remember what it was like feeling in the dark on how things were actually done and what it would take to work at a big studio on blockbuster projects so I want to share what I think might be valuable.
